Guts (ガッツ, Gattsu) is the Mankanshoku family's pet pug.

Appearance

Guts fits the overall description of a pug, being a pale cream in color with large eyes and a dark face. He is seen wearing a small light blue hoodie that covers his ears and his tongue is often seen outside of his mouth.

Personality

Guts is known for his eating habit. In episode 2, Matarō said that they named him Guts "because he eats with a lot of gusto", hence the name. He also has the ability to stand on his two hind legs, similar to the way humans do. Guts is shown to be perverted towards Ryuko Matoi.

• His name is a pun on the word Gusto (ガツガツ食べる, Gatsugatsu taberu), given that he eats a lot.
• During episode 7 of Space Patrol Luluco, a much larger Guts is seen crying for an unknown reason.
